Splinter Cell: Conviction

Review Count of Splinter Cell: Conviction: 2,881

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Ubisoft. Splinter Cell Conviction takes place a few years after the events of the double agent. Sam’s old friend  Grim Pulls him back into the game with the information about a corporation. This game requires only 1.5GB of RAM.

The gameplay of Splinter  Cell: Conviction is different from the previous part Double Agent.  It’s still a stealth game but much more focused on taking down enemies, as opposed to simply avoiding them. Personally, I liked the change Ubisoft made but this does not mean you can freely open fire and kill enemies.

The game allows much more customization than before with upgrades for each gun.

Death to Spies 2007

Review Count of Death to Spies: 738

Death to spies a sketch game set in world war 2, you play as a Russian spy. The amount of RAM required for this game is 512MB and it will run on any integrated graphics chipset, which is common for a low-end PC.

Apart from the tutorial, you start the mission being questioned by the NKVD to recount what you did in the past mission.

The gameplay of Death to spies is similar to a hitman but with a more difficult control scheme, which I did like for example you can knock enemies only from their back if the NPC turns around and you cannot do anything, besides reloading the game again from you saved. Overall the gameplay was good but not great, the story of the game is good.

Hitman Codename 47 (2000)

Review Count of Hitman Codename 47: 2,490

Hitman Codeman 47 is a stealth video game, presented from a third-person perspective. The gameplay of Hitman Codename  47 is very satisfying and professional. Players control Agent 47, a genetically enhanced human specially trained to assassinate people.

The mission takes place in continents like Asia, Europe, and South America to assassinate wealthy criminals. Each mission takes place in a semi-open-world environment. If you kill the assigned target stealth and silent kills and without raising any alarms you get bonus rewards. This game offers lean and peek options which are so helpful for silence kills in the game. 47 can take the clothes of a dead body and impersonate them.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood

Review Count of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood: 13,115

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is an action-adventure game, it’s an open-world game set in fictional history and is played in a third-person perspective and the main focus of the game is on combat, climbing, and stealth abilities to eliminate targets and explore the environment.

The gameplay of this game is so good, especially the combat system you can easily counter your enemies and hit long combos. The story itself is the best of the Assassin’s Creed series. Horses play a larger role in Brotherhood not just for transport but horse-to-horse assassination missions.

Velvet Assassin 2009

Review Count of Velvet Assassin: 2,292

Velvet Assassin is a stealth video game setup in World war 2. You play as a silent assassin steals things, slinking through shadows, and taking out German soldiers. Sneaking around the environment is so tense and satisfying. The environment of this game makes things more interesting like some areas are dimly lit, really good for hiding from enemies.

The gameplay is good but in some missions, the AI of the game feels so easy to kill. The objective of the Velvet assassin is to assassinate war criminals or blow up fuel depots. The combat is handled mostly through stealth, mission locations are mainly bathed in darkness and you sink slowly through the shadows to finish off your enemies and drag them out of the light.

You can inject yourself with morphine which allows you to kill enemies quickly (power is limited). This game easily runs on low-end systems as it requires only 1GB RAM and integrated graphics.

Manhunt 2004

Review Count of Manhunt: 2,133

The manhunt is a stealth and survival horror game published by Rockstar Games, it’s a third-person perspective game with too much violence. The game has 20 levels with 4 bonus unlockable levels.

Manhunt has a dead-serious tone because there is humor added to stealth kills, missions have too much violence. Manhunts have a great accuracy of the kill animations even with the data graphics this game will scare.

The story of the game is also sick, you play as James Earl Cash and you are executed by lethal injection but the injunction turns out to be sedated, after which someone called the director gives you instruction through an earpiece. The Director promises Cash his freedom, but only if he murders “Hunters” – gang members sent to hunt him. Character voice lines are also so creepy.

Sniper Elite is a stealth-shooter video game. It is a third-person tactical shooter that focuses on a  less direct approach to combat instead of focusing on long-range combat, encouraging the player as a sniper to use stealth and keep distance from enemy soldiers. This game is set in the World War 2 era.

You can use different positions such as crouching or lying prone and you can take a deep breath to “focus” for increased accuracy. It requires very low RAM and Graphics to run i.e. 256MB RAM and Integrated graphics.

Deus Ex (2000)

Review Count of Deus Ex: 2000

Deus Ex is an action role play set in the cyberpunk theme world and year 2052. JC Denton is the protagonist of the game, you are the agent of the United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition. His agency gave you some superhuman powers. Your mission is to entangle him in a conspiracy that brings him into conflict with the Triads, Majestic 12, and the Illuminati.

The gameplay has both first-person shooter and stealth elements, you can customize the abilities of Denton like abilities such as weapon skills or lockpicking, increasing his effectiveness in these areas.

I really like the role play element of the game which allows tasks and missions to be completed in a variety of ways.
