Gameplay & Plot

Studio Wildcard developed and released Ark: Survival Evolved, a sandbox survival game. The players find themselves trapped on a lush tropical island populated by gigantic dinosaurs.

Survive by gathering materials to make tools and constructing a shelter that can resist the elements. Gather dinosaur feces to fertilize your farm while picking seedlings and planting them. Alternatively, you can make makeshift weapons to hunt archaic creatures for their skins and flesh.

You will collect points to improve your stats and unlock new craftable items as you go through the game. Tame ancient reptiles with food to serve as pack mules or ride them over the vast countryside to fly, swim, and run quicker.

Every species on the Ark follows a predatorial hierarchy and lives in a unique environment; domesticated Dodo birds won’t have a chance against a horde of velociraptors.

Humans, not dinosaurs, are the ones who will murder you without compassion or provocation. Create a flourishing community by joining a tribe with other players, sharing resources, and working together to survive. Or, in fast-paced and deadly PvP, raid other tribes for riches.
