Battlefield 2142 is a tactical warfare shooting game based on the First Person Shooting genre. This game was developed by DICE Media and published by Electronic Arts. Initially, it was released for Xbox only but later it was released for Windows Microsoft after some developments.

Gameplay & Plot

Battlefield 2142 is regarded as a vintage shooting game, despite the fact that it was much ahead of its time when it was launched. It featured 64 players in a single multiplayer map at the time; the only other game that supported this many multi-players at the time was “planetside.” Unfortunately, EA Sports’ online multiplayer services were shut down some years ago.

This game is set in the twenty-first century when the globe has been frozen due to the Ice Age, and the only place remaining in Africa, therefore the war is to conquer the continent.

There are only two factions in this game: the European Union, the United States, and Australia, and Russia, China, and other Asian countries that survived the Ice Age.
