MIR4 is a Korean Fantasy-based FREE MMORPG PC game developed by WeMade Corporation of South Korea. The Game is available in 12 major languages across 170 countries around the globe, this shows the popularity of the MIR4.

MIR4 game story is the prequel of its predecessor The Legend of MIR3 released in October 2004, MIR3 was a huge success in Korea and China. MIR4 is a BlockChain based game and heavily incorporated with Pay2Win which is pretty common in FREE MMORPG, personally, I’m OK with it as long as it doesn’t give any huge disadvantage to players playing freely.

Before entering the game world you will get to choose from four classes i.e. Warrior, Sorcerer, Taoist, and Lancer. This game gives too many character customization options. There are thousands of players on each server grinding in the game. You can play with friends, form clans, fight bosses, and do raids together. There are also a lot of PVP elements inside the game.

Perfect World

Perfect World: Short Review

This is one of the FREE MMORPG that most of us must have played and invested most of our time in the past. If you haven’t played this one yet then my first advice is that keep other games aside and just play it.

This game has many classes to choose from like Humans, Elfs, Tideborn, EarthGuard, etc. these are customizable to your liking and you can make them bizarre or sleek according to your choice. This game also gives you multiple options for combat style, you can literally fight anywhere on water, land, air anywhere.

You can make a Guild or join one, each guild could have up to 200 players where you all have common goals or enemies. You can do territory wars that are Player Vs Player and each side contains up to 80 players, this war goes on for 3 hrs max.

There are a lot of other gameplay styles and options to explore I just can’t explain all of them here. If you are an MMORPG fan then play this one.

Path Of Exile

Path of Exile: Short Summary

After many years and 7+ free expansion packages Path of Exile is one of the best Free MMORPG PC game out in the market. This game has the best gaming system it gives us so much freedom that you can’t imagine. You can set certain spells to cast automatically while performing a combo move, or you can auto-heal yourself in set events there are many other options that are triggered with gems and other items.

Although the game gives many options its gameplay style or specifically combat style is quite repetitive. You can easily win fights by performing repetitive moves, the bosses which require some thinking are countable on one hand in the whole game.

I have to say that the games developers put some nice effort into the graphics and detailing part of the game. The MMORPG’s main bosses and gaming environment gives you a nice feel of the gothic MMORPG game from start to end.

Rift: Short Review

One thing I can say about RIFT confidentially is that although this free MMORPG doesn’t have anything extra from other MMORPG titles whatever it has is smooth and works perfectly. Released in early 2011 when MMORPG’s were considered buggy and full of errors this game changed that notion perfectly.

This game is developed by Trion Worlds and they are a big name in the MMO gaming industry. In RIFT you are an ascended, a person send through time to save the world. The number of abilities that you can master is huge sometimes it may feel excessive to master them all.

Rift doesn’t introduce anything new in the MMO genre rather it polishes the available playstyle and gameplay modes, one of the most notable things is its quest mode. Exploration is also the focus of the game they literally force you to explore more.

Bless Unleashed

Bless Unleashed: Short Review

If you are a fan of graphics like me then Bless Unleashed is the Free MMORPG PC game you are looking for. Being released in February 2020 it is one of the latest free MMORPG on the list. It is developed by multiple studios i.e. Neowiz Games, Round 8 Studio, R8S Entertainment Limited.

This part is released after Bless Online and has some major tweaks over it. Some important changes are in the combat system, blessing and skill system, class personality, combos, user interface, graphics, and many more.

You can choose from five classes that are offered at the start i.e. Crusader, Berserker, Ranger, Mage, and Priest, I’m personally a fan of Berserker. Each of these classes has its specific races that you can select from. After your character selection and customization, you will move forward to combat training. I’ll recommend trying out every class and then choosing the one you like most.

Bless currently has three types of challenge systems mainly for loots and practice i.e. Arenas (2 Players), Dungeons (5 Players, multiple bosses), and Lair (5 Players) Challenges. The Player Vs Player is of two types i.e. Battlefield (15 Vs 15) and Warlord (3 Vs 3). There are other ways to engage in fights like flagging, etc.

Dungeons & Dragons Online: Short Review

It is a free-to-play MMORPG PC game based on fantasy, it was released in 2006 and from that time it has been a major choice of all MMORPG lovers. It is most famous for its way of storytelling and unique dungeons.

There is a lot of customization available for your character, in the starting you have to choose its style (Melee, Spell, Specialist, or Iconic), then the class which is different for each style you choose there is a total of 22 classes in total, then you choose your path (Sage, Necromancer, Elementalist). After going through all this still, you have to choose your race (Ashmar, Dragonborn, Elf, Dwarf, Half-Ling, etc.). There are so many options that I can’t talk about all of them here.

When you will play it for the first time you will literally scratch your head navigating through the user interface but with time you will get a hang of it. The number of abilities and skills to unlock is far too high you will definitely enjoy this Free MMORPG PC game.

Albion Online

Albion Online: Short Review

Initially, Albion Online was not intended to be a Free MMORPG but it became so in April 2019. The one thing that I like most about Albion is its no class restriction system. You can change your class at any time in the game without losing your skills and points.

The looting system in Albion is also very unique, all the loot in the Albion is player crafted. The skills and equipment in the game are also classless i.e. all the skills and equipment you acquired on your journey will dictate your strength in the game.

There are several activities in which you can indulge yourself like dungeon exploration, PVP fights, item/equipment forging, etc. Overall Albion Online is a Free MMORPG PC Game that does things differently and that too in a good way, you should definitely try it once.

World Of Warcraft

World of Warcraft: Short Review

This one is the oldest name in the Free MMORPG section of MMO gaming, it was released in November 2004 and from then it has been one of my personal favorites. It was developed by Blizzard Entertainment, a leading developer in the MMO gaming genre.

The user interface is pretty easy for a newcomer in comparison to other MMORPG titles on the list, you understand things automatically and intuitively. After 3 to 4 games you feel like an old-timer although there is much depth in the game. This game is action-packed and doesn’t make you wait for some fistfights and shooting.

Depending upon the class of fighter you choose in the beginning your path, quests, and everything will be totally different, so it’s like playing multiple minigames inside a game. The respawn system in WoW is the best as it doesn’t make you lose skills and points and just respawns you after some time, so you can take all the risks you want.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Star Wars: The Old Republic – Short Review

In SWTOR there are many good options to choose your career, but from my experience, if you are playing it for the first time then you should go with “Imperial Agent”. The Imperial Agent has the most interesting story and it will give you a new look at the Star Wars universe.

The sheer number of abilities for every character and class is mind-numbing. Also, characters or NPCs in the game react to your choices but their reactions are not that obvious, they may be too little for you to even notice sometimes.

The environment or map seems to be made in layers, you can see the dramatic changes once you complete a quest and proceed to another location. I’ll say there is a lack of connectivity or continuity in the gaming environment. Overall it is a good playable Free MMORPG PC game, if you do not have any other game on the bucket list then you could play this one.

Neverwinter

Neverwinter: Short Review

Neverwinter is more combat-focused than building up a story for each of its characters. The main quest feels like a narrow hallway with some smaller quests in between. The number of abilities and skills to master is not also that much as a comparison to other Free MMORPG games.

This all means that you could focus more on your combats and strategies rather than taking a carefree stroll and watching the storyline of each character. This game somewhat forces you to play harshly, although the frame rates are pretty low. There are seven classes to choose from at the beginning of the game.

There are multiple fighting tactics according to the class you choose from melee to mid-range fighting options. You can fight bosses in dungeons or fight in Player Versus Player modes also. The only thing that I think is missing in the game is social interaction, I leveled up quite a bit without even exchanging a word with other players.

So, if you like action-heavy MMORPG then this one is developed for you, just dive in.

I know this one is not FREE and this list is for “FREE MMORPG“, so why is it here? It’s here because it made a place in my head and I wanted to share it with you guys.

If I have to describe this MMORPG game in one word then it is just “unpredictable”. This game offers a huge map with almost everything you could ask for. As a new player, I started on a shipwreck and had to explore my way through the environment.

As you reach certain places new markers show up on your mini-map, they indicate hidden places like caves, abandoned farmlands, etc. While exploring these unknown places be extra careful because you don’t know what is waiting for you in there, you could find nothing or you could find yourself fighting a scary wolf.

The gaming environment is also very interactive you could collect/harvest almost everything i.e. grass, herbs, stones, woods, etc. You can also participate in PvPvE (Player Vs Player Vs Environment) matches, New World offers 20 Vs 20 matches which are really fun to play.
