The conspiracy plot in the flashback of Max’s past was replaced with the love story and a  rivalry between the Russian and Italian mafia. Max is accompanied by characters like Mona Sax, she is in the role of love interest in the game of Max.

The plot of the game is very interesting and very domestic, which stylized graphic novel style cinematics.
